U.S. Army tasks CACI to provide night vision and infrared technologies

ARLINGTON, Va. In a 22-month task order under the Strategic Services Sourcing (S3) contract vehicle, CACI International Inc. has been selected to support specialized technologies for the U.S. Army Research, Development, and Engineering Command's (RDECOM) Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD).

Under contract, CACI engineers will provide technical and program management support for the research and development of infrared and night vision technologies.

This task order represents new business for the company, says CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury. The contract is worth an estimated $28 million.
