Leidos is tasked to support ISR capabilities of U.S. Army ARL-E program

RESTON, Va. U.S. Army officials have tasked Leidos to design, produce, integrate, and test for the Airborne Reconnaissance Low-Enhanced (ARL-E) program. Their first task order under this contract is to provide the System of Systems (SoS) integration of the Mission Equipment Payload (MEP), including the modification of Bombardier DHC-8 aircraft.

The contract is a single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) with a five-year period of performance and has an estimated ceiling value of $661.8 million. The ARL-E is a manned multi-INT airborne platform that detect, locates, identifies, and tracks surface targets.

Leidos will work with their partners Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) and teammates Argon ST (a Boeing Company), L-3 ComCept, and Dynamic Aviation to provide solutions for the U.S. Army for this contract.
